About Debriefs: The Australian Underwear Brand Built for Comfort
Est. 2017, Sydney
We started because Aussie blokes deserved better undies
Debriefs started in 2017 in a Sydney garage. The goal was straightforward: make underwear that's genuinely more comfortable, more durable, and more sustainable than what was available in Australia.
We spent a year researching fabrics, testing manufacturers, and wearing through prototypes until we found MicroModal: a fabric 3x softer than cotton, sourced from Lenzing in Austria, and made by a GOTS-certified factory in Turkey.

Our mission
Built for Australian conditions
Australian summers don't mess around. Most underwear isn't built for them. Cotton holds moisture, traps heat, and falls apart after a few months of regular washing.
We designed Debriefs specifically for Australian conditions: MicroModal breathes better than cotton, wicks moisture away from your skin, and handles heat without losing its shape. Whether you're at a desk in an air-conditioned office or outside in 40-degree heat, you'll stay dry and comfortable.

Our product
We focus on the things mass market brands don't
Most underwear brands cut corners on the details that actually matter. We don't.
We source our MicroModal from Lenzing in Austria, the global leader in sustainable fibre production. Our manufacturer in Turkey is GOTS and BCI certified, runs on solar power, and plants 1,000 trees a year. Every pair is constructed with bonded seams, a 3D pouch, stay-down legs, and a no-roll waistband.
We could use cheaper fabric. We could manufacture somewhere less expensive. But that's not what we started this brand to do.
Meet the founder
I started Debriefs because I couldn't find comfy undies in Australia. I'd lived in America and travelled so I knew what comfort should feel like, so I did something about it.
